Industry solution
Warm, controllable light lines for hospitality interiors
A hotel renovation needs one lighting language across lobbies, corridors, suites and restaurants — warm, dimmable, and identical across 200 rooms ordered in three batches.
What usually goes wrong here
- Batch-to-batch colour difference between room blocks is a rejection risk
- Lighting scenes need dimming without flicker at 5-10% output
- Contractors need the same SKU installable by different teams
- Fire/codes and low-voltage wiring restrictions in old buildings
Send us two things
- Run length per zone and the depth of the cove or reveal
- Mounting surface, viewing distance and target CCT
Reply includes strip spec, driver sizing and feed points.
Recommended build
What this solution is built from

Tunable White LED Strip (2700K–6500K)
One SKU covering 2700K-6500K, keeps batch consistency across room blocks
Addressable Pixel LED Strip (WS2812 / SK6812)
Programmable accent scenes for lobbies and bars (DMX or SPI)
Selection rules
These are the four decisions that decide whether the site accepts the installation.
| Bin the same CCT | lock 2700K within a tight tolerance and order all batches before site handover |
|---|---|
| Dimming | specify PWM dimmer with output >=1 kHz, or 0-10V / DALI driver; cheap leading-edge dimmers flicker |
| Length | standardise on 5 m reels and one connector type for the whole project |
| Power | 10 W/m or less in bedrooms and corridors keeps long runs within one driver |
Installation notes
Rear-view aluminium channel with diffusor covers the tape edge and turns the line into a clean grazing beam. Keep driver outside the plaster line — heat inside the cavity shortens strip life.
Tell us the room count and CCT per zone — we quote all batches from one production order.
We answer with a line-by-line spec you can forward to your installer without re-translating it.
