Industry solution
Weatherproof outdoor lines for paths, facades and trees
A landscape architect lights garden paths, tree pits and pool edges with a line that has to be invisible in daylight and rated for 24/7 outdoor use.
What usually goes wrong here
- Rain, UV and temperature cycling kill bare IP20 strips
- Underground and in-pond applications need full potting
- Tree lighting must not wash out foliage colour
- Ground fault / RCD protection on long outdoor runs
Send us two things
- Run length per zone and the depth of the cove or reveal
- Mounting surface, viewing distance and target CCT
Reply includes strip spec, driver sizing and feed points.

Selection rules
These are the four decisions that decide whether the site accepts the installation.
| IP68 for permanent outdoor burial or submerged; IP67 for above-ground wet | |
|---|---|
| UV-stable silicon jacket, not PVC, for sun exposure | |
| Low-voltage step-down near water; RCD-protected circuit | |
| Warm 2700K for foliage, neutral 4000K for paths and security |
Installation notes
Bury runs 200 mm deep with conduit at the cable. Every connector outside is a future failure — use potted end caps, never exposed splice boxes.
Tell us the outdoor run layout — we specify IP rating, driver and cable routing together.
We answer with a line-by-line spec you can forward to your installer without re-translating it.
