Process

How the replacement runs

Freeze the sample physically: we tag the approved reel and record its bin, CCT and CRI.

Production runs against that frozen reference; the pre-shipment sample from the mass order is compared to the approved one.

Approve the pre-shipment sample before we book the vessel — that is the only moment where a spec error is still cheap.

Agreed tolerances are written into the PO (CCT range, CRI minimum, lm/m minimum, defect rate), not left in an email thread.
