Shadow-free display lines for cabinets and showcases
A shopfitter needs a line inside a 60 mm deep cabinet that makes products stand out, does not show the strip itself, and runs cool enough not to scorch wood.
What usually goes wrong here
- Dotting visible on glass doors
- Heat inside a closed cabinet
- Cabinet depth limits board width
- Colour shift on jewellery or art pieces
Send us two things
- Run length per zone and the depth of the cove or reveal
- Mounting surface, viewing distance and target CCT
Reply includes strip spec, driver sizing and feed points.

Selection rules
These are the four decisions that decide whether the site accepts the installation.
| Board width <=5 mm for 60 mm deep cabinets with a 30 mm shelf gap | |
|---|---|
| CRI Ra95+ and R9 > 50 for skin-tone and jewellery rendering | |
| 8-10 W/m keeps cabinet temperature acceptable in a closed box | |
| Anti-glare diffuser or frosted channel above the shelf line |
Installation notes
Mount the strip on the inside of the side wall, lighting across the shelf — the product hides the source. Nevermount directly under a wooden shelf with no gap.
Send cabinet depth and shelf gap — we pick the board width and CRI.
We answer with a line-by-line spec you can forward to your installer without re-translating it.
